Each candidate should be provided with the following specimens labelled with the letters in bold type:
A: Cutlass;
B: Shovel;
C: Wheel barrow;
D: Rabbit;
E: Fresh liver (From ruminant);
F: Kidney (From ruminant);
G: Oil paint / Dye;
H: Branding iron;
J: Tags:
K: Burdizzo;
L: Gizzard (cut open to show its contents);
M: Tapeworm;
N: Tick.
Where a specimen is not readily available in sufficient quantities, it should be shared among small groups of candidates.
Great care should be taken to ensure that the information given does not reach the candidates either directly or indirectly befor examination. After consultation, this document should be kept u lock and key until the day of the examination.
Substitution for any of the specimens listed overleaf is usually allowed. Prior permission must be sought from the Council for change that might be absolutely necessary.
